Most recently Alex worked as a Project Manager for UNMAS related project in Mali, West Africa. Previously he served for 25 years in the British Army, initially as a soldier working within the field of mechanical engineering and latterly as a Commissioned Officer assigned to EOD operations.

From 2015 to 2016 Alex operated in Mali, West Africa for the UNMAS EOD/IEDD mentorship program. Initially as a team member and later as a Team Leader, he conducted numerous deployed operations in support of the MINUSMA mission, as well providing an advisory capacity for operational planning with senior force personnel, to ensure explosive threat mitigation and ultimately, mission success.

Prior to his departure from the military, Alex’s final assignment was that of Senior EOD Advisor to the Afghan MoI, enabling the Afghan National Police (ANP) to build and improve its EOD capability.

He has served abroad in Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan and Mali.

Managing Director

Imre is a Former Hungarian Master EOD Operator and Instructor with extensive expertise and experience in the full range of integrated clearance techniques, including manual, mechanical and canine. During his service he attained the highest level of military EOD and police IEDD certification. As well as MACP operations in Hungary, he also deployed as Chief of EOD/IEDD Operations in Baghlan Province, Afghanistan, assuming responsibility of all explosive operations within the province including operational control of all deployed EOD/IEDD teams. 

On completion of military service, Imre returned to Afghanistan as a civilian to deliver basic, advanced and sustainment EOD/IEDD training to Afghan National Security Forces. This contract was followed by a further deployment to Mali, West Africa where he worked as a civilian EOD/IEDD mentor delivering basic, advanced and continuation EOD/IEDD training to MINUSMA Troops, in accordance with IMAS & UN IEDD Standards.

Most recently Imre worked in Mali, West Africa as a qualified QA/OPS (UN) Officer.

Operation Director, EOD/IEDD Assessor 

Most recently Attila worked in Mali, West Africa as an IED threat, explosive risk mitigation and route search mentor & trainer for multi-national forces (UN Troops).

Attila is a former French Foreign Legion NCO with 14 years’ experience with extensive expertise and experience in the full range of EOD/ Search & Detect techniques.

He has served in Mali, Mauritania, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Eritrea, Djibouti, United Arab Emirates and French Guyana.

Attila hold a University Degree Adult Trainer-Mentor certificate, (University of Avignon, France) and speaking French, English, German, Romanian and Hungarian as well.

Training Director, EOD/Search & Detect Instructor 


The DRAKON training team has extensive experience in the delivery of training of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) to personnel in the armed forces and specialist civilian units - with courses designed to develop and enhance operational capability. 

A former Warrant Officer  who served for 23 years with the British Army. He has over 25 years experience in the safe handling, storage, movement use, and disposal of explosives and associated hazardous substances. During this time Trev held posts that required Enhanced/Developed Security Vetting and has conducted operational tours, both in a team leader capacity and as stand-alone posts, of Northern Ireland, The Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan. He has extensive experience of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), and Improvised Explosive Device Disposal operations (IEDD). 

Since leaving military service, he has continued to work in EOD/IEDD and ammunition related fields, which have served to enhance his knowledge of operations within the commercial sector.

Trev holds Full Membership of the Institute of Explosive Engineers.

Richard is a former Hungarian Navy EOD Diver. During his military career he was responsible to dismantle and render safe unexploded ordnance to include underwater mines, land mines, and IEDs. He was participate in research and development of new diving techniques/procedures. He was also deployed as a Remotely Operated Vehicles Operator as a remote option during Render Safe Procedures, and to conduct Explosive Ordnance Reconnaissance (EOR).

He has served abroad in Bosnia and Afghanistan.

Tom is responsible to manage the company’s supply of products and services, include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring contractual obligations are met. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
